The SCOTTISH NEURODIVERSE PERFORMANCE NETWORK

The Scottish Neurodiverse Performance Network (SNPN) is an organisation creating space and solidarity for neurodivergent-identifying* artists who work in (or with) performance, across discipline, career level, and location across Scotland. As a neurodivergent-led organisation, it is driven to support and facilitate neurodivergent community and culture within the Scottish performance sector, whilst nurturing and promoting the creative practices of neurodivergent artists in its network. SNPN advocates for inclusion and equity for neurodivergence in Scotland’s performance culture, but also pushes for radical change to disrupt neuronormativity in the sector for neurodivergent embodiments and consciousnesses to truly thrive.

In 2019, Aby started SNPN at a grassroots level. With support from Creative Scotland, National Theatre of Scotland and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Aby is currently undergoing a process of strategic development for SNPN, in partnership with Magnetic North and with mentorship from artistic director Nicholas Bone. In March 2025, she will share the strategic blueprint for SNPN as an independent organisation with the neurodivergent community of artists working in/with performance in Scotland.

You can contact SNPN at neurodiverseperformance@gmail.com.
